Previously, Sanderson spent last season on loan in League Two, splitting his time between Bradford City and Harrogate Town.
The National League season is set to kick off for Woking against Carlisle United on Saturday.
Woking's Director of Football, Jody Brown, expressed his enthusiasm for Sanderson's arrival, saying that the club had been interested in the striker since November last year.
Brown stated that Woking had initially enquired about Sanderson's availability in May, but other clubs had also shown interest in the player.
Despite the competition, Brown highlighted that Sanderson fits Woking's desired profile, with the ability to lead the line and play in different positions.
