Isak has been training separately from the first team and has not been considered for the preseason selection. Despite this, his agents have been informed by Newcastle that no offer will be considered for the centre-forward before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
The board has instructed manager Eddie Howe to repair relations with Isak and bring him back into the team. Isak still has a three-year contract remaining and Newcastle has offered him a new deal with a release clause.
Newcastle's management is unhappy with Isak's entourage, blaming them for giving poor advice. They are also resentful of Liverpool's "lower" offer, which they consider to be less than their asking price of £150m.
For now, Isak will be registered as a Premier League player for Newcastle for the new season.
