However, City's manager Pep Guardiola sees Savinho as an important player for the upcoming season and has informed Tottenham that they will not be letting him go, regardless of any offer they make.

This decision means that Tottenham will have to look elsewhere for a new attacking player, as they have already missed out on other targets such as Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze.
