The two teams are far apart in their negotiations, with United wanting £50m to sell Garnacho and Chelsea refusing to pay more than £35m.
This disagreement has been going on for a while, since the end of last season when United first put Garnacho on their transfer list.
United are citing Chelsea's sale of Noni Madueke to Arsenal for £48m as a reason for their high asking price for Garnacho.
