Hellas Verona has signed a new defender, Armel Bella-Kotchap, from Southampton. The player will join the Italian club on a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

The loan fee is initially set at €500,000, and the permanent option is valued at €7 million. Bella-Kotchap's transfer marks a new chapter in his career, as he leaves St Mary's after a challenging year in England.

During his time with Southampton, Bella-Kotchap made five appearances last season. Prior to that, he played on loan with PSV Eindhoven.
