"We're really happy to get this win for our fans and with how we played," Lacroix said. "It's great to see goals at Selhurst Park, so everyone is happy."
The win was Crystal Palace's second in the competition and brought them closer to an automatic spot in the round of 16.
"We're happy with the result," Lacroix said. "We lost our previous game here, but we said we wanted to give this win to our fans, and I think they deserved it."
Crystal Palace has now won three games in a row, and Lacroix said the team is in a good position.
"We want to continue this momentum," Lacroix said. "We have a big game against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, so it will be an important moment for us."
Lacroix also praised AZ's pressing game, saying it was impressive but not enough to overcome Crystal Palace's intensity.
When asked about his goal, Lacroix laughed and said he was happy to help the team.
