In an interview, Amorim attributed the team's success to the hard work and dedication of the players, stating that the award was a team effort and not just his own achievement.
"My feeling is that life can change really fast," Amorim said. "We changed in the last four weeks in our team. The second thing is, this is not my award, it's a team award, because they (the players) are the ones that play the game, and they did a very good job."
Amorim also praised his staff for their behind-the-scenes efforts, acknowledging that their hard work often goes unnoticed. He expressed his gratitude to the team and his staff, stating that he is "really happy" to have received the award.
Amorim's win marks the end of a two-year streak for Manchester United missing out on the award, with the last time a United manager lifted the award being in November 2023 under Erik ten Hag.
Amorim's focus remains on the present and future, emphasizing the importance of winning the next match to continue the team's momentum.
