Seven Liberal Democrat MPs have written to the culture secretary, Lisa Nandy, asking her to intervene in the situation.
The club's chairman, Steve Parish, has confirmed that they will appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas).
Parish expressed the club's determination to fight the decision, stating, "We are still fighting. There's an appeal process, so we go to Cas, and we're very hopeful. We think we've got great legal arguments."
He emphasized that the club does not agree with the decision and is confident that they can prove that John Textor did not have a decisive influence over the club.
