He continued to explain that without their players, Real Madrid wouldn't have won the game, and that in every team, players have a job to do.
Mbappe emphasized that his job is to score goals, and that's what he does for the team, rather than being a dependent factor.
When reminded that he didn't score in certain games, including against Liverpool, Rayo Vallecano, and Elche, and that Real Madrid didn't win those games, Mbappe clarified his point.
"You shouldn't say dependence," he said. "You should say that I'm one of the reasons we haven't won, and that's because my job is to score goals, not because of dependence."
Mbappe added that the correct way to phrase it would be that he hasn't scored in those games and needs to score in order for the team to win.
