Despite being ahead at halftime, Arsenal managed to level the score with goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Mikel Merino. Robertson attributed the team's decline to a lack of focus and intensity in the second half.
"I think in the first 5-10 minutes of the second half, both teams were sloppy," Robertson said. "We had a good start, scored two great goals, and had a few more chances. We dominated the first half, but in the second half, we lost our intensity and aggression."
Robertson also noted that Arsenal made some adjustments that caused problems for Liverpool, and the team's failure to press and make smart decisions hindered their chances of winning.
Despite a strong finish, Liverpool ultimately settled for a draw, with Robertson expressing disappointment but acknowledging that sometimes games don't go as planned.
