"I'm not happy. I don't think anyone would be happy if they didn't play as much as they wanted," he said. "But I'll keep working hard to help the team when I get the chance, and hopefully, I'll get more opportunities to be a starting player."
Gallagher is happy with his current situation and wants to win titles with Atletico Madrid. He aims to have a bigger role in the team and will continue to work hard to achieve this goal.
Gallagher is aware that he needs to play regularly to make it into England's World Cup squad this summer.
"One of my goals is to get back into the national team," he said. "I've spoken to Thomas Tuchel, and he's told me what he needs from me to get back in. I'll keep working hard to get more minutes and hopefully get back into the national team."
