Edwards acknowledged that Wolves had fought back in the game but ultimately, the conceded goals were a major factor in their defeat.
"We got ourselves back in the game, but the goals we conceded were decisive," Edwards said in an interview.
"We gave the ball to Manchester United, which made it impossible for us to win. It's a difficult situation when you're constantly giving the opposing team the ball.
Edwards noted that his players were feeling nervous and lacked confidence, which affected their performance.
"It's understandable that they would feel this way, as they're human beings and can't help but feel the pressure," Edwards said.
Edwards pointed out that his team had possession of the ball several times before giving it back to Manchester United, which ultimately led to their third goal.
He emphasized the importance of learning from their mistakes and working hard to improve their performance.
