According to Konate, many people in his life only care about him for his fame and financial situation. He admits that he has been taken advantage of, especially when it comes to his clothing expenses.

"I've been guilty of overspending on clothes," Konate said. "You have no idea how much footballers need them (family) to be happy. Many people come to us with good intentions, but 95% of them are only interested in me because I'm a famous football player, not because they care about me as a person."

Konate revealed that he and his family have had to implement strict measures to filter out people who are only interested in him for his fame. This includes being more selective about who he allows to approach him.

Real Madrid may have to present Konate with a compelling project that prioritizes winning the Champions League if they hope to convince him to join the club next summer. With his contract expiring in 2026, this season could be Konate's last with Liverpool if he decides not to renew his contract.
