As a result, Burnley needs to find a replacement for Trafford, and they have identified Wolves' goalkeeper Sam Johnstone as a potential candidate. Johnstone, 32, is currently the second-choice goalkeeper at Wolves, behind Portugal's Jose Sa, and has made only 10 appearances last season.
Wolves are willing to let Johnstone leave the club this summer, either on loan or permanently, for a fee of around £8 million.
