Enrique acknowledged that PSG's record against Premier League teams is impressive, having beaten Liverpool and Aston Villa to reach the final four. However, he emphasized that every match is different and that his team is focused on the present.
"We beat Liverpool, who won the Premier League this year," Enrique said. "But that doesn't mean anything because every single match is different. We are full of confidence and looking forward to playing in the semi-final."
Enrique also praised Arsenal as one of the best teams they have faced, citing their consistent performance in the Premier League over the past three seasons. However, he believes that PSG will be a better team tonight compared to their previous match.
"The game we played against Arsenal was in October, and a lot has changed since then," Enrique said. "We have improved significantly, and we are a more complete team now. Our next objective is to rewrite history and make it to the Champions League final."
Enrique also reminded that Arsenal has not won the Champions League before, and only one team will advance to the final over the two legs. He expressed his hope that it will be PSG.
