He also expressed confidence that Ugarte's form can improve, saying "He is struggling in the moment, but it is our job to try to help our players and again, everything can change."

Amorim has personal experience of helping Ugarte adapt to a new team, having previously worked with him at Sporting. He believes that with time and effort, Ugarte can regain his form, saying "But it is a different world and he needs to adapt and he needs to improve, especially in training."
