This is the second time Salah has received this honor, previously winning it in the 2017-18 season. Interestingly, it's the first time since the 2018-19 season that a player from Manchester City hasn't won the award.
In addition to this recognition, Salah was also named Player of the Year by the Football Writers' Association earlier in the week.
This season, before the final match against Crystal Palace, Salah has scored 28 Premier League goals and provided 18 assists.
