Moyes noted that the club had a challenging first summer transfer window at their new stadium.
He stated, “I think we're pleased, but we couldn't get everything done in this window. Every club takes time to assess new players and see how they'll perform.
“Given our strong start to the season, I believe our new players have settled in well and contributed significantly to our success. It's rare for new signings to hit the ground running immediately.
“Several clubs have invested heavily in the transfer market, but not all their new players are performing at their best. However, a few of our signings have made a significant impact, particularly those with Premier League experience.
“This experience is crucial for a club like Everton, especially when trying to compete at the highest level. We were genuinely interested in many players, but unfortunately, we couldn't secure as many as we had hoped.
“We weren't a top target for many transfers, so we'll need to build our team gradually, focusing on improving our league position and maintaining a positive attitude.
“We won't be making giant strides, so it's essential to manage expectations and keep everyone informed about our progress.”
