The loan deal includes an option for the transfer to become permanent.

The announcement was made on Saturday, following the closure of the Turkish market on Friday.

Fofana previously spent six months on loan with Goztepe in Turkey last season, during which he scored two goals in nine appearances.

He was recalled by Chelsea in February and has now returned to Turkey for another stint in the Super Lig.
