Recently, Manchester United made a second offer worth up to £62.5 million to sign Mbeumo. However, Brentford rejected this offer on Friday.
Despite this, Mbeumo has made it clear to Brentford that he would like to leave the club for Manchester United in the near future.
It is expected that the transfer will be completed soon after June 30, when Manchester United's financial ledger is cleared.
However, before the transfer can be finalized, Mbeumo will need to undergo a medical examination.
