Wilshere moved from his role as an U18 coach at Arsenal to join the coaching staff at Carrow Road earlier this season, and now he has taken charge of the team after Johannes Hoff Thorup's departure.
When asked about Wilshere's new role, Arteta expressed his support, saying, "We're wishing him the best in his new position. It's clear that he's chosen to take on this responsibility for the remaining matches."
Arteta also mentioned that he's pleased to see former teammates like Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey taking on important roles in management. Ramsey, who also joined the coaching staff after leaving his playing role, will face off against Wilshere's Norwich City when they play against Cardiff City on Saturday.
